^this needs to stop being said. Even if they had had one this year, a 1 loss conference champ would have been left out.

Must have at least a 6 team playoff.

No they wouldnt have. If TCU was #3 going into championship weekend. And played another ranked team and won the Championship they would have been in and they B10 would be on the outside looking in.

The B12 as a conference is better then the B10 this year.

The other guy got it partly right.

The Big 12 was punished because...

1. they only have 10 teams and play all the other teams, which...
2. means that Baylor/TCU are guaranteed to get to play all three of the shitty teams in the conference...
3. and that they only get 3 OOC games...
4. which Baylor scheduled against two more shitty teams and an FCS team...
5. and therefore was unable to play in a conference championship game.

When you take it in its totality, the 9 game schedule combined with the week OOC schedule and no championship game absolutely killed them.
