So the SEC realizes they're giving the other leagues a big head start in buying tickets by waiting to announce, right?

I think both leagues get a certain allotment of tickets, but I'm not positive about that. I'd argue the SEC has the advantage here by getting to choose which team they want to play Texas.

I guess you're right. I just read that 62,000 tickets have already been sold with no SEC team announced. Looks like it will be a big road game for the SEC team considering the stadium holds less than 72,000.
