Last year was a video game and the highest combined scoring game in SEC championship game by far. And it was a close game for three and a half quarters. It was also the first matchup of top 5 teams in the SEC title game that the league had had in quite awhile.

The game was an affront to the notion to defense, but its silly to say the Mizzou-Auburn game was not exciting to watch. It was one of the most exciting title games the SEC has ever had from the standpoint of big plays and scoring happening constantly.

It had just happened the year before with Bama and Georgia I think. And then three years before that was Bama and Florida and a year before that Bama and Florida.
