Until you see threads like this it's easy to forget how small or outdated some college arenas are. It's almost like some schools don't like basketball. You don't see football facilities neglected like that.

Hard to believe we are starting our 11th season at Mizzou Arena. It's been a pretty good home for our hoops team, we are 155-24 or .866 at home since the arena opened and that includes one of the worst stretches in Mizzou basketball with the last two years of quin snyder and the first two years of Mike Anderson. Take out those first four years and we are 102-7 or .936.
The AD did a great job when they built the Arena. Not just the seating area but the other areas and things they included as well.
Mizzou Arena is home to a private Athletic Performance Center, designed specifically to train basketball athletes. This area has strength training and cardio equipment, designed specifically by the strength staff to maximize student-athletes' abilities on and off the court.
Across the hall, the Mizzou Athletic Training room comes complete with aqua therapy and hydro pools, as well as treatment tables and offices for the Mizzou Sports Medicine Team.
Nutritional needs can also be met at Mizzou Arena. While teams have the ability to cater in meals before/following games and practices, both locker rooms have nutrition stations to meet the needs of our student-athletes.
A full-length practice gym, which is open to Tiger student-athletes 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
With the first few rows pushed back. They do this for practice or in this case painting the court.
Concourse behind the student section.
The Practice court - available to the team 24/7.
The current locker room - scheduled to be completely redesigned and updated this year or next.
Kids visiting another part of the current locker room
The new video board being installed. Big upgrade.
