We might have all prematurely blown our loads on this one.

I haven't blown shite, all I did was post a link

However, IF it ends up being true, watch gamecockpride/scout get a lot more subscribers. If it isn't true, they will fall off the face of the planet, even moreso than they already have.

That site has been non-existent since whatshisname sold it back in 2005. It used to be the biggest Gamecock site out there and they were always breaking stories - they broke all the stories. But the site was built around the one guy and when he sold it in 2005 it went downhill fast. It was called GamecockSports.com or GamecockNation.com then and it was the bomb.

I just don't see it being inside enough to break a story like this - I just don't see how. But, with regard to your prediction - it's true - breaking a story like this could go either way for that site and the current publishers.

1 - If it proves correct then it could lead to validation, increased subscribers and a whole new beginning for that site.

2 - If it proves untrue or in any way hampers the attempt to hire Muschamp, then Steve Fink will yank their credentials and the site will be declared persona non grata by the University and the site will essential cease to exist.
