Not football related, but similar. I was at the Masters one year and was watching Adam Scott warm up on the range when this woman and her husband in a UGA hat sit in the seats behind us. Ol' Scooter is just hitting some stock 9 iron shots at a flag that is probably 175 out. Clearly just aiming, not trying to hit the flag distance. The dumbass behind kept going on and on about how:
"Wow he is well short of that flag. He must have chunked it."
"Oh my goodness, he is not swinging well today. He is way short."
"I can't believe his caddy doesn't step in and club up for him. That's what I would do."
"He is not very good; he has yet to come near that flag."
"At this point he must be too embarrassed to change clubs. He should be anyway."
I so badly wanted to turn around and tell him to shut the frick up. We left just after but Scott shot in the 60's that day. I laughed to myself.
