Actually a lot of faculty and staff are concerned UA is trying to undermine its undergraduate program. Shutting down the Honors Program is one example.

If that is true then that is an actual issue that should be addressed immediately. And if it came out that Bear Jr or anyone from the UAT side was meddling with UAB academics in someway then I'd hope it was swiftly dealt with.
This football nonsense is just not in the same ballpark as that.
