No, it has everything to do with Bob Witt. Saban's success is a part of it, but Witt started this long term plan during Shula's era with buildings and fundraising and it has continued to explode ever sense.
The Saban success has really helped in terms of get kids from large, out of state urban areas to come visit campus. At that point the University and campus speaks for itself.

Takes two to tango broseph......the University is doing extremely well off the grid-iron too and that is on the BOT not Saban...he runs the football team which is and was a cash cow before Saban ever got there....which goes back to the original point of why they don't want a succesful UAB football program. Don't frick with it. Why is that so difficult for you all to understand?
