LSU fans are a strange bunch. There is a segment of their fanbase that act and look like carnival workers aka carnies. The corndog is the staple food of the carnival/county fair. It has nothing to do with LSU fans actually eating corndogs but is a gentle reminder that they have a large segment of circus freaks amongst them.

There are some weekend carnivals that travel though Louisiana periodically, as they do throughout the south and nation.
These troupes are from all over the country.
There are over a million LSU alumni and fans on this plantet. I have yet to meet any who meet your description.
I guess it may be what you're used to in Auburn, alabammy...
