They do as a group come off a bit sensitive in this area.
Not sure why. They've had a bevy of RBs and LBs that have had success in the NFL.
LA kids fare better than any other state per capita, period. So it stands to reason that LSU players would also.
On the subject of Mettenberger, he has the arm strength to make all the throws, and he appears to be improving on his progressions. But he's going to have a very difficult time with his lack of mobility. He needs a solid OL. Sunday saw 2 new starters on that line.
And he actually had a better game than Sanchez.

Numbers wise, Mett is doing better now than Bortles, Carr, or Bridgewater did to start their seasons.

I've said this already, but it's because most of them can't stand for anyone other than Bama to be successful. This thread is proof of that. Most of them came in here and tried to spin every comment about an LSU player into "well they still couldn't beat us". Its not a state of Alabama things because AU fans aren't like that. It really is kind of a sad existence.
