How do the SEC contenders matchup against other playoff teams?

Only the teams that have even a remote shot at the playoffs: Missouri, Georgia, Bama, State, and OM.
Oregon: Speed, speed, and more speed and a dual-threat QB. The best matchup for this is a strong running game that keeps the fast offense on the sidelines and a versatile, fast defense. Winner - Georgia (see AU vs. UGA, 2014). Close second - OM. Worst matchup: Missouri.
Florida State: Good receivers, playmaker QB, comes on strong late in games. The best matchup for this is a solid pass rush and/or shutdown secondary and a sturdy O-Line that can keep control as the game wears on. Winner: OM (see OM vs. UA, 2014). Close second: State. Worst matchup: Bama

I think the Bama defense has adjusted well to the fast paced, hurry up spread offenses so teams like Oregon aren't a huge concern to me.
Bama matches up very well against all of those teams you listed.

I don't think Bama is a good matchup against FSU. They come on strong in the second half and that is when Bama is at its worst this year, which is odd for them, but they are what they are.

Bama is probably the best contender due to coaching, but I think all SEC teams will be more vulnerable than normal in the playoff this year (as opposed to BCSCG SEC reps).

Win the trenches... win the game.
I will take Bama, Ole Miss, and Miss State against any of the teams out there that have a shot at the playoffs.
Fast paced offenses are nice to watch, but they can't beat you from the sidelines.

Oregon should concern any defense not saying they'd win but their offense is a machine!
