I highly doubt he will stay around long enough to match Bear Bryant's 232 victories. But he does have a chance at Frank Thomas. What say you?
1. Bear Bryant (232-46-9)
2. Frank Thomas (115-24-7)
3. Nick Saban (88-16)
4. Gene Stallings (70-16-1)
5. Wallace Wade (61-13-3)
1. Bear Bryant (232-46-9)
2. Frank Thomas (115-24-7)
3. Nick Saban (88-16)
4. Gene Stallings (70-16-1)
5. Wallace Wade (61-13-3)

Ya, 5 more this year, then 15 the next 2 would do it.

That's 28 wins to pass him. That could be this year + two more seasons. Three more seasons is worst case scenario. Yeah, I think he passes Frank Thomas easily because I think he has about 5 more years until he thinks about retiring.

Bryant coached for 24 years. Saban is on year 8. He would have to coach for at least 10+ years and not let up to even come close really. If he stayed on track he would hit 200 wins in 2023ish. Would take coaching to 2025-26 to become all time winningest. In 2026 Nick saban would be 75 years old. Saban is under contract until 2022. I personally doubt he coaches that long. Don't think his wife would let him nor he would want to spend his remaining years still having to keep up with the demanding career of winning a title every single year. Once you reach a standard, I would think it would be hard to just stick around if you couldn't do it every year like you had prior.

yes most likely so. i don't see him passing 1, and praying he doesn't retire before he passes 2.
