Am I supposed to feel sorry for the kid? I'm sure he has dozens of other offers.

We are supposed to pretend that we care about the football players and that they are student athletes.

He's a QB that committed 7 months ago. He had some big time offers but those have fulfilled their QB quota now.

Yeah, you are. He's still a kid and even if he has lots of offers, how many of the other schools he liked moved on while he's been committed to MSU?

With that said, it's a coach's responsibility to take kids who are going to make a difference on the team, and taking a kid you no longer think will do that is a bad move.

Yea you should. He's an early enrollee and graduates in 16 days. How many schools are bringing on early enrollees this late? He's been committed since May and from the way it looks, he hasn't been pursuing other schools. Could be wrong but if that's the case, this is fricked up in a major way.
