I was raised in a very fundamental christian home, but rejected it at a fairly young age. I do enjoy reading about various religions because I find it fascinating.
The bible like many other religions has core tenants that are universal, do't murder don't steal etc etc. They are all wrapped in outlandish mythology though.
I align more with Buddhist philosophy than any other.
Just recently read Thomas Paine's Age of Reason and think that the deist movement should have done better in the States.
