I think Georgia would be an exception due to the way they lost and who they lost to.

Georgia and MSU are two completely different animals though.

I'm not sure how a Georgia reference was deducted from anything I posted, I am an advocate of the best 4 teams with the best 4 resumes, conference champion or not. All conferences are not created equal, so that is a flawed metric from the start.

Georgia would not have a top 4 resume even with an SEC title because they lost to two pretty bad teams.

Ok. And if TCU won out and won the Big 12, they would have one loss to a top 5 team by only 3 points. Why would you put State in over a team like TCU who won their conference and only had one loss to a top 5 team?

TCU and State would have almost identical resumes but TCU would have the conference championship. How would you put in State over them?
