I can't attest to your hostility. But yeah, I think the fact that we were the last two, and now you're all alone, plays into it. UGA always had Auburn, the smaller, less wealthy school from Georgia to point to. Now it doesn't.

Georgia fans were pretty hostile with UT and Florida fans when they were winning championships. It easy to drop the hostility when both programs are no longer competing for championships

Well, I'm obviously speculating, but I also think it's normal for me to question UGA fans' self-proclaimed reasons for not liking Auburn.
I mean, it's like me acknowledging I hate yall in part because you have our number, rather than simply blaming it on the trashy elements of your fan base. I have no reason to be honest like that.
