You do realize the girl in this tweet didn't attend the game and heard about it from one of her friends that went. If true, it's unacceptable. Based on the fact that it's complete hearsay, and we have no idea how drunk her friends were, I have a harder time believing it

Using the term "grown men" was an obvious attempt to demonize the GA fans while making the readers subconsciously ascribe some sort of innocence/vulnerability to the sorority girls involved in order to play up the actual threat. The use of that type of loaded terminology just makes me think they're exaggerating any incidents in order to gain sympathy.
