9 wins should be the absolute minimum for Kevin Sumlin next year

Anything less and we are not making progress. Obviously you get a pass for large amounts of injuries and key positions if they occur. Both Mississippi schools should take steps backward, and we should at least be competitive and win one of either Bama, Arky, LSU, Auburn. Win 2 of those and you have a 10 win season.
We go 8 wins or less without major injuries to key positions and Sumlins seat should be hot.

This going to be a really tough game. But I agree we need to win 9 next year

I think it should be 10, honestly. The excuses of being young and learning on the job are over. Sumlin gets his new DC, no more bullshite blame-game conspiracies.

Ole Miss isn't necessarily taking a step back next year. Dr. Bo and the LG are the only seniors on their offensive two-deep. Calling anything in Oxford a gimme is hilarious given our history there.

I didn't say EASY W for any of them. But major programs in the SEC should expect to win those games with the exception of an occasional upset. If we don't we have problems.

We are capable of 10 and that's the ceiling I think. Maybe 8 is the floor.
I say that with Snyder coming back next year.

As in, if he doesn't get to 9 wins he is on the hot seat for 2016? Maybe I agree, depends on the wins.
I don't think there is anything, short of missing a bowl, that will get him fired prior to the end of the 2016 season.
