Ofodile was waiting on a Zou offer for the longest, but they said that he had to earn it. I'm surprised he didn't tell us to kiss where the sun doesn't shine. When we finally offered he strung us along and then said "kiss off" and then went to Oregon.

They should be 10 steps ahead of the game when it comes to the in state kids. There is no reason that every in state player they offer doesn't have it unless they are a back up plan. I understand if their process takes longer with out of state kids, but if it were me, I'd make sure every junior (soon to be senior) that is in Missouri that I want has an offer by junior day. Might pick up some early commitments that way.

Having said that, I've been biting my tongue a bit because frankly I haven't seen him play football but I have seen him play basketball. I am shocked that Bama even offered him. In basketball, it always struck me that he was getting pushed around (granted by guys a year or 2 older) and didn't seem to be the most athletic on the court. Maybe that has no correlation to the football field, but I remember thinking when his name first popped up thinking "Football?!?! Really?!?!?!" Wish the kid well and hope he proves me wrong and is a helluva player, but I'm not losing any sleep on this one. There are literally 200 more TE's in the country that are better, the same or hardly a noticeable drop off.

Oregon offered quite a bit after Mizzou did. Why wouldn't he be mad that they slow played him even more than Mizzou did.

Some kids just want to get away when going to college.
