Next year will be interesting to see, as far as Auburn's RBs go. Mason and CAP are very talented as are the ones that'll follow. I wonder though how their offense might change next year. One of the things that makes Auburn's run game so good is Nick Marshall; he's a great runner and his passing, while not stellar, is good enough where you have to respect it, making it tougher to defend the read option...

When Jeremy Johnson takes over next year, I'm thinking Malzahn will adapt his spread to be more passing friendly. Johnson is a superior passer, but is not as dangerous a runner as Marshall. Malzahn is great at adapting so I think Auburn's passing numbers go up next year to take advantage of Johnson's skills, and their running numbers come down even though they'll still have a lot of talent at RB...

We'll still have a 1000 yard rusher. If we were able to have one in 09 and 11 with not much of a threat of a runner at QB and not nearly as much talent around the QB, we'll be able to do it next year. Johnson's passing will open up the run even more.
