No. Alabama would kill them.

How? Your quarterback is lame. We have the likely Heisman winner on our team. We've got two bad arse power running backs and would score on your slow asses on 3 minute drives. If we get ahead early you'll be playing catch up, and you aren't the sort of team that plays catch up well.

So is this the point in Oregons season where they chant about wanting the SEC then lose to... Whomever...

You had your chance against Auburn. Suck on your kazoo.

A hotshot QB does not a championship team make. How many Super Bowls did the Broncos lose with Elway at the helm?
Teams that rely on a high-powered offense to compensate for a mediocre defense, racking up 40+ points per game through the regular season against hapless opponents, are susceptible to a psychological breakdown when they go up against a stifling defense in the big game. They tend to become frustrated when the opposing defense denies them their habitual score on every drive, and that frustration eventually leads to mental errors, cf. 1989 Buffaloes and 2002 Hurricanes.
I certainly hope the Ducks win out, so we can all witness their debacle against the defense of the SECW champion in the playoff.

Weakest SEC in a decade. If you are going to do it this is your year.
