Are you blind? Or just hoodwinked?
Bamas strenth of schedule ( SOS ) was fourth the first week the SO CALLED POLL came out, but they placed Oregon ahead of Bama, even though Ole Miss was third in the poll that week and Arizona was way down, an Arizona team that beat Texas San Antonio by only five.
A one loss Pac team over a one loss SEC LMAO.
Now TCU jumpec Bama, with the thirty six SOS.
There is your metrics.
Mich. St. ain't crap, and ain't beat nobody.

Do you have any idea how many different "SOS" rankings there are out there?
