By your definition of "talent" which is clearly based on nothing but star rankings -- isn't that QB of ours just another average player that wasn't good enough for LSU, aTm, or anyone else in the SEC? Thus simply been developed by an overly badass coach?

You are an aTm fan. I don't blame you for basing "talent" on star ratings -- because it's your justification for believing that imminent greatness is right around the corner. You keep on believing -- and pls keep taking Texas' players and shockingly getting Texas results out of them.

Development and experience count just as much. There are plenty of examples in the SEC of immense talent being wasted. Just as many of underrated players developing their talents further.

14 of your 22 starters are seniors, and 19 of the 22 are upperclassmen. Both numbers lead the SEC and are in the top 10 nationally.
