I was referring to the irst fumble by Auburn at the end of the game. Saturday Down South claimed CAP clearly recovered the fumble and Auburn should have kept possession of the ball

Lol. There was nothing clear about that play except for the fact that A&M had the ball at the end of the scrum. Yes, I know. When you slow the video down to 1/10 speed, you can see Payne put both hands on the ball. But in real time, that lasted for only a small fraction of a second before a couple of A&M players jumped on the ball too too. And establishing possession isn't like scoring a TD (i.e. the instant the ball crosses the plane, it's a TD, play over). The refs always, always, always let 'em play for a few seconds.

Feel free to bitch about that if you like, but that's how the refs have always done it. In other words, the way the refs called that play was right in line with the way they always call that play and most definitely not an anomaly. Let the players fight for it and see who comes up with it. Some eighth of a second freeze frame has never meant shite and it didn't mean shite in this game either.
