If you or your father enjoy craft beers Fayetteville has a thriving local breweries scene. I believe most of the local breweries have tasting rooms if you want to stop by and possibly get a tour. My personal favorite is Fossil Cove, they make some fine brews. I would suggest going around 4 in the afternoon so you have time to sip a few beers before the drug dealers and strippers start showing up for work at Fayetteville's infamous Bottom's Up nearby.
