Which players are leaving after this season? We already know some of the Sr's who are graduating, but what about the guys on the bubble? Do you think they will graduate/go pro/try to go pro but meh? I am not an NFL expert, there were several guys on the team last year who I thought would have been drafted but weren't, so I'm being conservative with projecting any of our guys to the NFL.

Graduating Sr's
QB Thompson - Graduate
OT Robinson - NFL
OG Cann - NFL
WR Byrd - Graduate (possible NFL)
WR Jones - Graduate (possible NFL practice squad.)
TE Anderson - Graduate (possible NFL, but late round at best)
TE/OT Gibson - Graduate
DT Surratt - Graduate
S B Williams - Graduate
S K Marcus - Graduate
LB Golightly - Graduate
P Hull - Graduate ( he did much better this year, good for him.)
K Fish - Graduate (thanks for the funny videos)

How about the Jr's or guys with Eligibility?
RB Davis (possible NFL, I think theres about 5-8 RB's who would get taken before him (Gurley, Yeldon, Abdullah, Duke Johnson, J Williams, just a few off the top of my head. He still has the best shot of the Jr's to be drafted.)
RB Wilds - Graduate as a RS Jr (he would have to get a Combine invite that I'm not even sure he'll get. Too injury prone right now.)
RB Carson - Graduate as a RS Jr, he may stay though. He has no Pro shot as of right now.
WR Roland - He won't go, he has no shot of being drafted at this point in time.
TE Adams - I don't think he leaves, he is the #1 TE next year and he hasn't done enough for any form of NFL level highlight reel while here...yet.
Nobody on defense has any shot of going pro right now for this coming draft.

We almost always lose some RS Jr's as well who just look to transfer to a small school to play a season b/c they're buried on the depth chart after spring ball., so we'll probably lose a few.

It's weird that Shell announced he would stay and then Austin Clark decommited a day later. His loss, Va Tech blows even harder than we do, but they haven't been good in a decade. We'll rebound like crazy next year if we keep these defensive recruits AND get better defensive coaching.

Dude really has been a great holder, he has saved a couple of bad snaps.

He shouldn't go, but he seems the type who will anyway.

Brandon Shell needs to be on the second list and I'm assuming hes going pro, although I'd love to see him stay.

I think Shell, Davis and Roland leave early. Shell and Davis will get drafted before the 4th round and Roland seems like the Victor Hamptom/ Emanuel Cook type that just doesn't give a frick about school anymore.

Shell said last week that he's staying and not putting in paperwork for the NFL Advisory Committee.

Davis just doesn't have the stats this year to go in the Top 4 Rounds
14 RB's were taken in the Top 4 rounds last year and 22 overall. If he does really well the rest of the year, he may slide into that 4th Round, if he does some really special things he could still go earlier. However, if he stays on par for what he's done this season so far a 6th-7th round is more likely.

I hope he does some special things and puts himself in a position to go Top 3 round, but we'll see what happens.

As far as Roland, him leaving would be crazy, I can't see him projected in even the 6th-7th rounds right now based on what he's done the past 2 seasons. He had an amazing game against Wisc and he's had flashes of billiance here and there, but he has to put together a better and longer highlight reel. He's a perfect example of a guy that has a ton of talent, but he has to show it on tape and another year could do it for him...especially when gunslinger Mitch takes the reigns.

IMO Roland being dismissed from the team or being quietly advised to transfer has better odds than him going pro right now....

We've had players say they won't leave and the. Bolt out the door after the season is over. I'll believe he's staying after the deadline passes.

Davis is 5th for RBs on Kipers big board I think. Also seems like the kind of guy that just wants to get to the nfl ASAP.

Roland leaving would be dumb, but he doesn't strike me as an intelligent person. He probably thinks he can get a free agent contract

I think that's fair, although it is more likely that he gets himself in trouble rather than they ask him to transfer. Although, I hope and think neither will happen (knocks on wood)

I didn't know that, Kiper knows his shite, but he makes guesses like all of us. DIdn't he have Quarles as a Top 5 DT as well?
I really hope Davis is successful no matter what he does.

I would take a 3to1 bet on Roland NOT being invited to the Combine this year. Those FA Contracts for WR's are used every year, but there's a 100 guys going after them and a fistful make it past the pre-season. He has to have some incredible games this AND next season if he's going to play in the NFL.

Roland can do it, that talent is there. We all watch him fricking OWN Wisconsin and he did really well against ECU. But he hasn't broken 100 yards all year. How many other Jr's are in that same boat or better this season....MANY.

Yea I agree that he'd be stupid to go pro, he just seems like the type to go pro anyway.

I'm of the understanding that both Davis and Roland want to leave early.

Davis is feeling ... well, underutilized right now. He's made some comments that might make one believe he feels that Coach Spurrier doesn't like him or something.

Roland, I've known since he was 4 yrs old. Know his mother fairly well - and am close with people who are very close to her on a daily basis. She wants him to declare early and leave even if it's risking not being drafted. (It would be a bad idea for Roland to leave early - his will be a worse case than Gurley leaving early was - and Tori was a better talent IMHO, yet look how that's worked-out for him.)

Wouldn't have anything to do with him wanting to come out after every other carry...

Davis is currently projected 34th overall by Walter Football and has been projected as high as low first round (prior to the season). IMO, he's a top 3 rd lock and will almost certainly leave.

Roland would be insane to leave. He currently has 21 catches on the season for 300 yds. And this is w/ us slinging the ball all over the field. He has <900 yds for his CAREER.

Either that or the run game is working perfectly and we suddenly start passing it.
