Not really. The committee hasn't ranked these teams where they stay put if they win and only drop when they lose. I expect to see teams make big jumps and falls week to regardless even if they win. That's why I could see TCU jumping up to #4 if they were to win at West Virginia this weekend.

That makes absolutely zero sense unless the teams above them lose. Why would they jump to 4? First of all, Alabama already beat West Virginia. Second, WVA is only #20. Beating #20 won't, for example, cause the committee to bump them ahead of Oregon, FSU, or the winner of the AU-OM game. Nor would beating a team that Alabama already beat cause the committee to bump them ahead of Alabama.

But the biggest reason why I am right is the fact that you are only looking at one game this weekend, and I said what would happen if teams would win out. You have TCU jumping to #4 for beating #20? Then if Bama beats #1 and #3, they'll just jump right past them. TCU does not have wins of the same caliber left on its schedule...fact.
