The perks of winning. Rich boosters are appreciative. I don't see anything wrong with it.

Alabama did it for Bryant and Auburn did it for Dye so it's really nothing new. What's new is the monies. Dye and Bryant didn't live in 3 mil pads. Also, Saban has the option to stay there rent free after retirement as did Dye and Bryant, if he chooses.

I don't either, and to be honest I'd think LSU, UGA, SoCarl should ALL be doing the exact same thing for their coaches.

Saban/Miles/Richt/Spurrier are tenured coaches that have proven themselves in this conference.
