I might add that at least in the old days lower paying jobs were filled by people who were at least proud of the work they did. Kids today all think they are too good to get their hands dirty and actually work for a living.

Yep. At my second job, as a loader/unloader for a large, multinational package delivery service, we don't get paid a lot, but get paid well for the work we do, compared to my first full-time job doing similar work at Wal-Mart for $5.00 an hour.

Most of these kids that come in there to work just leisurely go through the motions and act like it's as fast as they can go.

Most people nowadays just put no effort into their jobs.
