If bama finishes 11-1 and ole miss wins out they both get in.

I think it'd be tough to keep 11-1 Alabama or Auburn out of the playoff if either fail to win the West, depending on what takes place the rest of the way in the other conferences. Just in November, Auburn would've beaten Ole Miss, Georgia, and Alabama all on the road. Alabama would have beaten LSU, MSU, and Auburn. Tons of momentum and attention for either one of those.
