Field position will be huge against LSU.

Not really. Y'all are giving them too much credit. If Bo plays an average game and the defense plays like they usually do, y'all will win by 14+

ETA: LSU is pretty terrible in the redzone, at least they were when we played them.

I'm not sure why you think field position isn't critical when playing a team that's one-dimensional. I am very skeptical LSU can sustain a 70-80 yard drive against a defense as talented as Ole Miss. LSU is going to have to catch Ole Miss off guard early with some first down play action to keep Ole Miss honest. Dural is the real deal, and the Dupre-Quinn freshmen combo can breakout any game. I'd also like to see Diarse get some looks, mainly because he's very physical and could hold his own against the rebs' hard-hitting defense. But our blocking is gelling, Magee has clearly lost a lot of weight from the beginning of the season, and Fournette's vision is improving each game. LSU getting respectable field position is going to be HUGE if LSU has a chance this weekend.

eta: It's depressing how little faith the staff has in Jennings. They basically just ask him not to lose the game. Harris is clearly the future

LSU's only shot is to have a big day on special teams and have the defense tip some passes for at least one pic. Our front four is the worst pass rush in probably 10 years, but our line is still pretty athletic (just young). LSU has tipped a couple of balls for pics this season. it'll be crucial this weekend they continue that trend.

I hope you guys enjoy your trip this weekend. baton rouge leaves a lot to be desired, but obviously the tailgating and atmosphere take a backseat to no one. I am trying my best to not get excited about LSU's chances, but the LSU-OM rivalry has always been pretty epic.
