quote:

I have not looked it up but his passing stats are probably equal to JFF's

Through 7 starts (so taking out Manziel's 1 half from '13 game 1)

Manziel:
'12: 7 games 1956 passing 157/246 63.8% 14TD 6INT (5-2)
'13: 7 games 2485 passing 177/243 72.8% 19TD 8INT (5-2)

Hill
'14: 7 games 2511 passing 197/295 66.8% 23TD 7INT (5-2)

So yeah they're essentially the same passer despite Aggies complaining. Adding in JFF's running and through 7 games of '12 he was responsible for 24 touchdowns and '13, 25 touchdowns. Hill has 23.

So like I said...oh to be a spoiled Aggy. They've got a first year starter following up their Heisman winning best QB in school history and that first year starter (in the SEC) is 2nd in the country in yards and touchdowns......they're complaining about him and want the backup!

I think Hill has regressed somewhat, but that's to be expected with a first year starter when an o-line struggles with pass protection and an ineffective run attack. A lot of us are spoiled because of the bar set by JFF and its unfair but it is what it is. Replacing Hill with Allen now won't improve anything but I wouldn't be surprised if he takes the job next year. Kyler needs to redshift anyway and fricking quit imitating a dwarf so he won't become a crash test dummy when he gets his shot. But when he does.... oh baby!

What are his stats in the past three games. The level of competition Manziel played off the bat was top notch. It seems as the level of competition for Hill has gone up, his play has seen a drastic drop off.
