Defensive Line (number before name = games played)

6-Garrett: 30 tackles, 8.0 TFL, 6.5 Sacks, 7 QBH
6-Obioha: 22 tackles, 3.0 TFL, 1.0 Sacks, 1 QBH
6-Williams: 28 tackles, 3.5 TFL, 2.5 Sacks, 2 QBH
6-Walker: 19 tackles, 0.5 TFL, 1 PBU, 1 PD, 1 QBH
6-Hall: 16 tackles, 2.0 TFL, 1.0 Sacks, 1 QBH
6-Arnold: 6 tackles, 1.0 TFL, 1.5 Sacks, 2 QBH
6-Cunningham: 5 tackles, 1.5 TFL, 1.5 Sacks
5-Johnson: 2 tackles
4-Henderson: 5 tackles
3-Robinson: 15 tackles, 0.5 TFL, 1 QBH
2-Jackson: 5 tackles, 3.5 TFL, 1.0 Sacks
2-Manning: 3 tackles, 1.0 TFL, 1.0 Sacks
2-Taylor: 1 QBH

Big takeways from our defensive line - They sack the quarterback and keep interior running plays from going very far for the most part. However, there's only one batted pass on the year which tells me they're not clogging the passing lanes or reaching up for the ball when it's released.

The rotation is clearly Garrett, Williams, Robinson, and Obioha as starters with Hall, Arnold, Walker, and Cunningham as the 2nd line. Henderson hasn't played much since he got hurt vs. Rice and the others haven't done much on the field.

Linebackers (number before name = games played)

6-Bass: 37 tackles, 0.5 TFL
6-Baggs: 14 tackles, 3.0 TFL, 1.0 Sacks
5-Mastrogiovanni: 16 tackles, 1.0 TFL, 1 PBU, 1 PD, 1 QBH
5-Walker: 9 tackles, 0.5 TFL
5-Sanders: 7 tackles, 0.5 TFL, 1 PBU, 1 PD, 3 QBH
5-Alaka: 5 tackles, 1 QBH
3-Washington: 20 tackles, 2.0 TFL, 2.0 Sacks, 1 QBH, 1 FR
2-Wade: 2 tackles
1-Hilliard: 3 tackles, 1.0 TFL, 1.0 Sacks
1-Chevis: 1 tackle

We're in deep trouble at LB. When your starting linebackers have a grand total of 67 tackles, 4.5 TFL, and 1.0 sacks after 6 games that puts an extreme amount of pressure on the defensive line to make a play. Aside from Hilliard (pre-injury) and Washington, we have no playmakers at linebacker at all

Starters are Bass, Mastrogiovanni, and Baggs, while the rotation is Washington, Walker, and Alaka.

Defensive Backs (number before name = games played)

6-Matthews: 39 tackles, 2.5 TFL, 3 PBU, 3 PD, 1 QBH
6-Everett: 35 tackles, 1.5 TFL, 1 PBU, 2 PD, 1 INT
6-Watts: 32 tackles, 2.0 TFL, 4 PBU, 5 PD, 1 INT
6-Burns: 23 tackles, 1 PBU, 1 PD, 1 FF
6-Davis: 13 tackles, 1 PD, 1 PBU
6-Moeller: 6 tackles
6-Raven: 5 tackles
6-Honeycutt: 4 tackles
5-Harvey: 6 tackles
5-Sezer: 3 tackles
4-Garner: 3 tackles
3-Harris: 19 tackles, 2 PBU, 2 PD, 1 FR
3-Wilson: 1 tackle
3-Wiggins: 1 tackle

The fact that five defensive backs are in the top ten leading tacklers and 3 of the top 5 including the team's leading tackler are defensive backs is a horrific indictment on the linebackers. In addition, through 6 games, the defensive backs have 2 interceptions and 12 passes broken up combined. That's just sad.
