Is that I'm wrong about Driskel.

The team is clearly more motivated and want Treon as their quarterback. Time to start him in the next few games.

He may not be better than Jeff at this point, but no way is he worse.

He inspires the team and that's what we need, period. If that's what it takes.

One thing is definitely certain: Time for Muschamp to go. He can't even get the victory formation correct. No discipline on our team at all.

Yeah I thought for sure Driskel would fumble and Tennessee was gonna kick a game winner. Muschump needs to go.

Congrats on admitting you may have been wrong. However lets wait until after the LSU game to say we have found the answer.

I keep telling you tards that I'm objective. Whether or not it's intentional (I think the offense was throwing the game for Driskel, but it's difficult to prove motivation) -- they want Treon as their quarterback and not Driskel.

If they're willing to nearly lose games to do it, then maybe they just don't feel good with Driskel.

But that offense does not play as hard as they can under him and it's blatant.

I'm being serious here, Driskel should convert to TE like Blake Bell did at Oklahoma.

Did the rest of the offense make Driskel throw 3 interceptions. Driskel wasn't sacked until the 3rd quarter. There is no possible way the offense collectively were throwing the game to get a QB change. When Harris came in he gave them a apark just like last week with LSU when they put their freshman in.

No, but two interceptions were due to tips.

He had five drops in the entire game (four in the first half).

And that you're not sacked doesn't mean your offensive line is playing lights out. Driskel had a pocket today, but in no way are we gonna sit here and pretend like the Oline was fantastic.

Driskel had one INT that you can pin on him (with the QB spy) but the other two got tipped by Florida players and into the hands of defenders.

Points with Driskel- 0
Points with Treon- 10

Taking up for Driskel at this point is stupid. Just stop.

Maybe you should read the thread title and opening post.

We're clearly a better team with Treon -- but I don't feel like the team helped Driskel or gave everything they had for him.

Disagree, but get hooked on phonics, son.

Seriously? I read the OP. You are saying the offense played harder for Treon. Why do you insist on making constant argumentative posts, borderline trolling your own board?

Impressive lack of ego and a rare display of such on a sports board. You, sir, are a good Gator.

I want to win and I want Treon to do well going forward. He has the team's support which is what matters going forward.

Thank you for the compliment, and I hope I'm not wrong anymore.

My experience is that if you ever want to challenge popular opinion you also have to be willing to take a few hits when the majority has it right. But it's still a worthwhile thing to do.

Really, it's the only thing to do. Lying to yourself and others doesn't offer any progress. I know our musings here don't mean much, although one could argue that fan approval/disapproval plays a big part in any game.

I just hope Driskel doesn't lose heart, hate to see anyone fail...........

Except Volunteers.

First video terrible throw way too high deserved to be intercepted.

Second Video on him completely

Third Int should've been caught.

I am done complaining about dropped balls. I could post all those vidoes too and show you 3 of those so called drops were on terrible throws.

If I were going to put the culpability on someone for the first it was 100% Robinson who totally misjudged the ball or lost it.

The second was Driskel for throwing it to the QB Spy, although a lot of quarterbacks make that mistake because it's in a blind spot if the line is collapsed in the middle.

The third one I actually think Driskel tried to rifle it, but, as a receiver you should be prepared for a fast pass around the middle.

All of this is kind of inconsequential, though, because you can't sit there with a straight face and say that the team was playing their hardest for Driskel.

Well, you could, just to avoid being wrong, but the evidence is there. They don't play for Driskel like they play for Treon -- period.

And we can debate why that is, but I think it's obvious that the entire team wanted Treon to be the quarterback and they've probably wanted it for a while. The support for him was superfluous compared to Driskel.
