The idea makes sense that it would be a blessing, but I agree with Foolish, I would rather learn the lesson with a close win. It is great to learn lessons, but do they have to come with a lose.

Do they have to come with a loss? I don't think so. But one of my favorite philosophies of Frank Martin is that players, and fans, often let a victory mask the mistakes and flaws made in the game.

Let's say we beat A&M 53-52... does our defense get as focused for the following weeks vs ECU / UGA without all the criticism? Do they work as hard as the reports said they were doing? Who is to say.
