Bama fan puts his foot down: "Alabama puts up 10 in the first quarter while Florida adjusts to playing in a hostile environment.

Florida hits a long pass at some point to lessen the deficit but Alabama eventually wears them down in the 3rd quarter.

Bama wins 38-13."

First UF fan, patronizingly: "I assume Alabama will score early. Defense/special teams will keep UF in it, so they'll only be down 10 after 1. In the 2nd quarter UF scores on a long TD drive to make things interesting.

Alabama has a couple of long drives, but can't quite cash in against Florida's defense so kicks for FGs. UF misses a FG and is down 16-7 at half.

Florida scores a TD after half time, but then blow a coverage in the secondary and Bama answers. UF comes back down the field and settles for a FG.

It's 23-17 entering the fourth quarter, but Alabama at this point has worn down UF's front, and is able to orchestrate a long drive to take a 30-17 lead.

Saban goes conservative then, and Florida goes on to lose 33-24.

If UF wins the turnover battle, though, they'll win the game."

TL;DR

SECrFPR Keys to the Game:

Bama:

-Alabama's ability to run the ball. Grind out that Florida defense.

-Quick throws on crossing routes

-Pass protection

Florida:

-Turnovers: If UF turns it over, they will likely lose. Badly.

-Field Position: Keep Alabama pinned deep in their own territory as much as humanly possible.

-Being able to hit the big plays

Prediction:

Bama Wins, 31-17

That would be good...

...if it was any good. Alas.
