Why because LSU has AT LEAST won a NC or a SEC championship. We are talking about teams that NEVER yet they talk all this trash. I realize now these days NOBODY gets embarrass about anything but have some fricking pride in yourself and stop looking like dimwits and Finally win something other than MAYBE upsetting LSU once in a blue moon!!!!

Every fan base gets delusional at times, and some fans are more prone to this.

What baffles me is how some people keep history so engrained in their heads. I would assume that most people posting on an SEC forum would know a bit about current SEC college football teams, yet many seem to know jack and would rather live on past results. A perfect example of this is how many LSU fans can't fathom that Ole Miss might have a decent team this year. Yes, historically we haven't been a contender for the West, but I think that for the first time in a very long time we have a team who can beat just about any current SEC team without relying on our opponents having a terrible game and the Rebels having the game of their season.

I understand idiots from the PAC going on the ESPN boards and whining about Ole Miss being overrated at the 10 spot, but I'd assume the guys here would have noticed our coaching staff calling better games, our recruiting being solid the past few years, and our players more mature and playing better football. Yet there's still a drove of posters who's only response to a positive Ole Miss thread is "when y'all been to Atlanta teeheehee". Its stupid.

In my opinion, those posters are twice as delusional when compared to any of the grinding going on here lately. College football programs are sometimes cyclical, and ever changing with each New class. You'd think the bulk of contributing members here were born five years ago, don't remember anything prior, and refuse to come to believe that things can change.
