I don't think the seats are assigned. They just make the neighborhood kids sent on one side, and the apartment kids on the other side. That is really fricked up to me and is sending a terrible message to the kids.

we had assigned seats on my bus when I was riding the cheese wagon back in the 90's. Granted, those were either elementary and/or middle school years and probably because a-hole kids wouldn't listen to the driver.
