There's only one reason MSU beats LSU and that's more experience,if indeed they do.

State positives ... improved DL & LBs, Dak's dual threat ability, better WRs than in the past, playing LSU early ... they should improve rapidly with their talent.
Negatives ... pass defense especially State's DBs ability to cover deep.
Looking for a much closer game than last year even in BR.
State will have to control the clock, DL and avoid giving up big plays or TOs to win down there.

Definitely has nothing to do with a much better QB, better WR's, better DL, and much better LB's.
At least you are starting to prep yourself for the loss
