It's just not a black and white issue. I said this the other day, but this is the embodiment of the 3 little bears story of being right in the middle.

Zook, Shula, Chizik, Fulmer, etc all had times where they were BAD. Like, really really bad. Aside from one year in 2010, UGA hasn't been BAD. We've gone from average (8ish wins) to above average (9 or 10 wins) to really good (11 or 12 wins). We always seem to fluctuate between that range, but (again, aside from one season) we don't ever have those seasons of winning 3-5 games.

That is how Tuberville was. The powers that be could not make a change until they were given a reason. 2008 hapened and they paid him to go.

Auburn has only won fewer than 8 games 3 times during the entire 21st century and we won 7 games one of those years. We have still had 3 different coaches during that time. Unlike Georgia, the powers that be at Auburn wont keep a coach who goes more than 4 or 5 years without at least winning a conference championship
