Calling BS on this. The Athletic Department policy states that a second positive (assuming his citation last summer was considered a "first positive) calls for a loss of 50% of the rest of the playing time for the year. From the policy:

Playing time penalties will be as follows for positive tests (second positive):

a) Marijuana / Synthetic Cannabinoids: (if the first positive test result was for marijuana or voluntary disclosure, Penalty Level I offenses) suspension for 50 percent of teams competitive season, Penalty Level II.

Unless the other athlete only has 4 events left on her schedule. her rumored suspension does not seem to match up to the policy either as no loss of playing time is required for a first offense (though the coach may impose a harsher penalty, but NOT more lenient, than stipulated by the policy).

I'm fully aware of what the policy states. If you'll notice it also only mentions failed drug tests. It doesnt' say a damn thing about someone known to be using drugs, but not taking a drug test. I never said marshall took a drug test. I said he was smoking, and the AD knows about it. I highly doubt he'll have a drug test anytime soon.

Well then this is pretty simple:

If it's true, he won't play Thursday. If it's not, he will.

No need to yell, guys.
