Way too much negativism way too early by some, basically what USCe was going through following the aTm game. And then they come back and win a big game today when many believed they couldn't pull it off.
I had UGA losing to USCe by 3 preseason (and Auburn as the only other UGA regular season loss) and then I switched to UGA over USCe by 7 after the season started. I really don't think anyone was surprised that the game was close or was totally shocked that USCe pulled it off. UGA's offense clicked as expected and I know the defense didn't perform well but honestly preseason and even after the Clemson game everyone knew there were going to be question marks about the defense and that most likely it was going to take some time for it to completely gel with a new DC, regardless of his credentials.
It's not anything anyone wants to hear while being upset after a tough loss but the season is young, there's a lot of football yet to be played, and you still have a chance to figure prominently in the national picture which I think would be in line with everyone's expectations in calmer, more reflective moments. I think you have to ask whether UGA is truly further behind than what your expectations were before the season began. For me at least they are not.

UGA was 20points better than this cock squad. I don't care who had who where and by how much before the frickin season began or even before this game. Plain and simple we got screwed by a team full of sea donkeys and still managed to keep it close. We should have beat them into submission by halftime, but we kept playing it safe let them think they belonged at the ball. UGA has to learn how to utterly demoralize our competition, not offer them tea and crumpets and invite them to be our equals.
And Jefferson, I'm not a fair weather fan, but I am more than pissed that we have players that cost us the game, and that should frickin know better. All the beat downs we could put on all the other teams this season don't make this one easier to swallow. Salt Life forever!!!
