They're never going to get that money from him. It was dumb to seek such a high amount of restitution. If they truly wanted to punish him they needed to think this through a little harder. if they try to put him in jail long enough to "work off" the fine it would get thrown out as cruel and unusual.

The funny thing is Auburn fans were claiming Bama fans would step up and pay this debt for him. This puts a dent in that theory, doesn't it?

I doubt anyone said this other than tongue and cheek. At least I never saw it, but i also don't go to ITAT. If it was said, then that person was dumb.
