Why won't Mullen start his best players?

All we heard all offseason was that Chris Jones is the best DL in the SEC and now he can't even crack the starting lineup.
Sure, Preston Smith is playing really well against awful teams but there are 3 other spots to fill on the DL.
Is Mullen just sandbagging or is his loyalty to upperclassmen serious enough to leave an obvious All-American game-changing defensive player on the 2nd string?

1. OM fans really need to stop talking about us.
b. How come your DL didn't have INT's against your shitty opponents? Are they incapable of dominating terrible teams?

I see your point but nothing has led anyone to believe Chris Jones is having motivational problems. Hell, Robert Nkemdiche was first-team All-SEC to start the season and looks amazing. CJ was second-team All-SEC and barely plays. Weird.

The DL did have an interception against Boise -- not that they're a shitty opponent.

I have a problem with this point. There's no reason for so much vitriol unless you're annoyed by Mullen's tactics as well in which case I would advise you that your anger towards me is misguided.

Robert Nkemdiche has one more tackle and one less QB hurry than Chris Jones.
