When you play only one game in a 21-day stretch, I don't see how you could possibly look past it.

Snyder is a top 5 coach and arguably the best coach in Big 12 history. He is relevant because he is damn good. .

Unfortunately for him Auburn is better

We're talking today. Historically, yeah he's been good. The guy is 74 years old. This isn't 1998. Nobody is arguing Snyder's history.

They were Big 8 coaches. Well, Osborne caught the beginning of the conference...

The greatest Big 12 coach is Bob Stoops IMO.

Trust me, I've witnessed first hand what Snyder has done at K State. He is an amazing coach, and I'll always wonder what he could have done at a school where he could have had more success recruiting. X's and O's/preparation, I would put him up against anyone.

He is missing championships to be considered the best ever, and that is due to talent gap in my opinion.

I'm getting fricking excited for this game

Not the sexiest opponent, but not a garbage team by any means. Respectable BCS opponent. Thursday night with the entire college football world watching

And Michael Bishop ain't walking out on that field next Thursday. This game is going to be a blood letting

Good thread, Chin, thanks for linking it. I didn't see it when you originally started it.

Here's another bit of Snyder trivia: during the height of his first go-round in Manhattan, from 1993-2003, KState won 109 games. Which exactly the same number of wins the program achieved in the 45 years from the end of WWII to the first year of Snyder's tenure in 1989.

In the short history of the Big 12? Probably.

But if you're gonna include the pre-Big 12 history of a few of the Big 12 teams, not even close.
