There are some throws where Hutson has a very quick motion. It's almost a flip of the wrist, in fact there have been times when the TV announcers called it that. It works for really short passes, as long as his decision is timely. When he does it on those 15-20 yard throws to the sideline, especially to his right, I hold my breath because the ball really floats.

Murray, on the other hand, had a full release, from right behind his ear that got really good velocity on short and medium range passes. Plus, Murray could get into that position almost immediately. I remember a touchdown pass from last season (I believe, can't remember the game). We were at about the opponent's 5 yard line. Murray looked right for Lynch, who was covered, looked left and threw in one motion to receiver who was open. The defender saw it coming but the interval from Aaron turning and zipping the ball about 10 yards in the air was so quick that he couldn't get there. There aren't many college quarterbacks that could've made that throw, IMO, because they just couldn't turn and throw in one quick motion like that and get good zip on it. They might complete it, but not before the defender converged enough to stop the touchdown.
