I am going to the uga-sc game this coming weekend and I was just wondering if I could get some info on the parking, the fan friendliness, and any good bars in the area

You're trying so hard for such easy information.
Parking - look for people waving people in. You have to pay usually. Fairgrounds has some first come first serve parking but you have to get there early.
Fans - It's a football game dude. You might get heckled, but you aren't going to get bent over or mugged. Especially with us being humbled by A&M
Bars - None around the stadium, really. Your best bet is 5 points or the Vista the night before.

Really the reason I was wondering is because im taking the wife and it's our first trip to columbia. Ive heard bad stories about some places (mostly lsu). I expect the some trash talking and that dosent really bother me.

Then you'll be fine. You always run the chance of running into that shitty fan wherever you go, but most of the people probably won't even be concerned about your presence. Too focused on tailgating. You might get heckled some, but any travelling fan should expect that.
Hope you have a good time, except for the game.

Bring your own tailgate stuff. Bring your own booze. Stick to your own kind. Go to the game. Dont be a bitch. Take your win or your medicine then get the frick out.

If you're at the 50 yardline, be prepared to sit around mostly Gamecock fans.

Yeah I figured I would be seen pretty easily on TV being the only red in the vicinity
