Game was sloppy. No doubt. State looked bad in some cases. Run D was still very good. If they play zone instead of man, those bombs don't happen. Adjustments need to get better. But they usually do. The pass D progressed last year to the point that they were good enough to completely shut down Moncrief and OM. OM still hasn't been tested. They look really good so far. But Vandy is not conf USA level. That's a sad fact. And OM still couldn't run on them. 3.5 ypc. 2.7 til the 4 th qtr. when Vandy was ready to quit. It will show vs big boys. And a team that puts pressure on Bo will expose him as usual. The egg bowl will be tough for State. OM should have the advantage. But, I hope OM feels like they will easily win by two tds. If they have that attitude, State will win again.
