"equal" is just wordplay that has entered the American psyche from those who wish to further socialism and communism. When people stop comparing their 'haves and have nots' to others, there will be a lot more happier people. Keeping up with the Joneses is a national past time now.

Keeping up with the Joneses is the backbone of the American economy. The American consumer is the greatest engine of capitalism evah.

I had gotten general with my commentary by this point. It's a fair criticism. Life isn't and will never be fair.
