Yeah, I guess the first 52 passes he threw weren't quite enough, he needed those 8 more with a 24-point lead.

Bleah. Did A&M score? (Not that there's suddenly something wrong with scoring.) No. Was it apparent that A&M was trying to score, taking the last 10+ minutes off the clock and running the play clock all the way down between plays? Again, no. No matter what one's opinion on "running up the score", I can't see how anybody would find fault with Sumlin on that last drive. He should have punted on first down, or what?

You may have noticed our star wide receiver Boone Neiderhofer catching several passes on that drive. Store that name in your brain, as he's a no-doubt Heisman contender! For those that think Kyle Allen should have played that last series... then what? Would Kyle be expected to run as much time off the clock as possible? That makes no sense at all. And if he had scored? Then the bitching crowd would bitch that A&M simply had to let Kyle Allen throw a TD in garbage time.
